Monochromes
Waiting for a client with that cuppa coffee sounds quite boring but not when its in a place where nostalgia hits you reminding you of the good times spent, just nothing stays the same there. Its upscaled, modern and nevertheless not the same. While I ponder this my super excited client step in with their exciting wedding plans. Each time these client discussions somehow takes me back to my wedding plans and how i remember those moments and feel proud on how well I executed it all on my own.

Shoot destination
This happens to be my favorite shoot location these days, Its vast, not crowded like other parks as it is still unknown to many. It has many beautiful scattered monuments. I am still exploring. It is a unique park dotted with ancient ruins from early medieval times with the Qutub Minar visible in the background fro most locations.

Hidden Truths
No, I am not talking about the photo, but this outdoor shoot happens to be an example of what shouldn't be done for a shoot.
1. Trying to shoot in Delhi summers,
2. Attempting to start shoot at 4:00 pm.
3. Wearing clothes which camouflage with the background.
Things I learned
Never get married in summers or attempt an outdoor shoot.
Force your client to come early morning, yes force is the word.
Suggest them actual colors (red, orange, pink, black) and not just stating bright/contrast colors, that doesn't work.

Chitradurga: A Historic treasure
On the way to Hampi when we decided to take a break and visit the fort we dint know we are going to experience history so neat and well preserved, yet unknown to many. It may not be in heritage list or might not be a popular tourist destination but its a must visit for anyone who is slightly interested in history, nature or photography.

Standing tall
We were gifted with an awesome weather to enjoy the landscape and beautiful skies and clouds added that amazing touch to my photos. Although due to the overcast weather we missed the beautiful sunset or sunrise, but on a positive note that gives us another reason to admire the beauty of the ruins. A weekend doesn't do enough justice to the marvelous place.

Morning ritual
Now that I did an evening, why not morning too and yes thanks to his working hours 1 o clock is morning for us. Making that perfect tea for him has become more of a hobby for me these days. It more like an exam with instant results. Some days I fail too but he still drinks that cup happily and that's why I love this exam and strive to get better.

Sakha Pola
Sakha pola (bangles of conch shell and red coral) are symbolic of Bengali married woman. It is considered a bad omen if it breaks somehow in the first year of marriage. So I kept my wedding one safe and bought much simpler version to wear at all times.I personally loved wearing them at all times after marriage. I am not superstitious as such but I gave so much importance to it that I would remove it when I would have a fight with him. I found it silly and still I would do it and eventually I grew attached to it so much that when it broke I cried my heart out. I still have this one safe and use it when I feel like and it still looks as pretty as the day I wore it first time.

Vertigo
Din't I mention it just kept getting better. It was one random plan for my birthday evening to drive towards nandi hills to get few snaps for my photo a day and enjoy the sunset, the sweet breeze in the hills. Ahh! it was well worth every minute we were there. Nandi hills is one heaven place in Bangalore which cannot bore you irrespective of the number of times you go there. Each time it has something different to offer.

Spot the plane
As we zip through the expressway towards the airport, which is quite a bliss road for a long drive in Bangalore. On the way there comes a spot where we can enjoy the planes soaring high from the runway. Its a pleasant sight just to be there not sure whats so pleasant about it. Since today our destination was something even more pleasant we headed past this place with a quick picture of this one going past us.

Kerala, Photographers's delight
Is it just me or it happens with everyone? Why do we tend to neglect the place we live for years, like for me I might not know the place where I spent more than two decades of my life than the city where I moved for work few years back. We get so busy and cozy in our comfort zone that we take the beauty which is so near us for granted and aspire and admire others. I am trying not to make the same mistake again and try and live each place, each moment till it last.

Colors
World is so full of colors and so many experiences that more I travel, more I realize how much less time we have in this world. This is back in one of the beautiful beaches of Krabi, where a couple was kayaking at a distance, inspiring me to add yet another activity to my never ending bucket list.

Third world problems of a photographer
What could that be? As a family member and as a friend everyone irrespective of their profession comes to an event comes with the intention of enjoying and being part of it. As a photographer I often dont get that luxury. Even if they don't expect me to shoot, I end up getting so involved that I miss out on the fun most of the time. I must admit, thanks to few awesome people I too manage a profile picture for myself and get to relish the amazing compliments over the photos I clicked later.

Rocky Way
As i go through through my old pictures to make a portfolio for my travel/field photography I sift through few interesting pictures from the past. This was taken somewhere on the way to MM hills of Karnataka, a beautiful land of hills and valleys covered with extensive forests. My first steps to Photography with the new dslr started from these lanes. To see more of these do check my profile as I keep adding more on https://www.flickr.com/photos/133639231@N05/sets/72157653397344680

The Blue city, Is it?
Coming back to my disappointment with Jodhpur which we all very well know as the blue city is not so blue after all. It is now at the crossroads of modernity and history. The city where I dreamt to go as a photographer to shoot those blue lanes, the turban people and their rich culture, all is lost in the name of development like any other city. We were left disheartened and tired after walking miles and miles in search of those beautiful blue lanes.

Floating Clouds
"I float in the unknown like the clouds in the sky, I know I will get sunshine but will I?" beautiful lines suggested by a friend for this picture. It somehow relates to each one of us at some point of our lives when we step into a new career or new phase of life, with this constant fear and struggle in our mind. As I go through a similar mystery in my life, these lines sums it up well.

Beauty of Life
"Life doesn't give you the people you want, it gives you the people you need, to love you, to hate you, to break you, to make you the person you are meant to be." In my own life I have been hopeless many a times but every time I fall, i feel lost, its soon taken away by something better. "If God can take away something you never expected losing, he can replace it with something you have never imagined" so the key of life is to never lose hope and some beautiful people like the ones in this picture keep my hope alive.

Beauty of cultures
India as diverse in its culture is a place where Beauty is a happy, boisterous co-existence of tradition, spirituality and ancient rituals on one end of the spectrum, glossy Bollywood-inspired aspirations on the other and many fast-evolving variations in-between. As a photographer I feel privileged when I get to document these beautiful brides and various cultures.

Baby, you rock
Back from a challenging naming ceremony function with this baby who is just 28 days old named Lakshita meaning distinguished. She already is living by her name. This is my favourite pic from the day where she is all adorned with all the jewels given by her aunties and uncles and with that perfect pose for me.
